I am still surprised by how glad I am I did it, especially because I'm also fairly sure that if I hadn't I would be experiencing at worst a mild wistful regret, of much lower intensity than my unexpected joy. - aren't Things weird?! this is what gets me about many a Decision about Perhaps Doing a Thing: it is hard to use your brain to calibrate them accurately. (especially ones where the options might be "high-intensity joy" or "high-intensity negativity" - like, a wild microaggression appears. i have a tendency to stick with "not do thing/only feel the low-intensity feeling", and then i wonder why i feel flat :/) but i'm so glad you had a good time and it was Worth It! <3
