On the upside, I know roughly why (I managed to turn it at the plot yesterday -- I thought it was No Big Deal but it is very cross about weight-bearing and flexing today; no bruising) and I have a preexisting podiatry appointment tomorrow. I am contemplating showing up with a wheelchair. (I attended my last appointment on foot. I think it would be funny.)
(Best guess is "sucks to be hypermobile" and Something Not Quite Right. The thing I am actually seeing the podiatrist for has I think actually improved -- with only limited thanks to said professional, see gluteus medius passim -- but alas I will be wholly unable to demonstrate that tomorrow unless a lot changes overnight. Maybe they will have useful input! We will see.)
Also on the upside! Celery is coming up; PAK CHOI I HAD GIVEN UP ON IS COMING UP (not much of it, but some; next stop: sow the rest of the packet and hope I get enough plants for sufficient genetic diversity to seed-save from???); despite the ankle the weather was good and I dragged A out on a tour of local plants (the magnolias are magnificent); the weather was also good enough this afternoon for me to happily spend an hour or so on the patio pricking out seedlings. With a sunhat, even! I am still short successful germination of one (1) tomato; I do not appear to have managed to get a third sowing going today, but oh well. Having got a bunch of basil set up to hopefully get rapidly bigger will have to do.
