Honestly, I'm... looking forward to the viva? I'm not feeling particularly stressed about it (except wanting my internal examiner to reply to e-mails)? So I, uh, sort of suspect that alas they are here to stay (at least until I drug them into submission). It would be nice if they fucked off, you're not wrong, but I am sighing and doing the dance of attempting to rejig my life to treat this as a new normal, because the worst possible outcome from that is it turns out not to have been necessary...
