"Undergraduate Masters" sounds like a contradiction in terms to me! ;p

I'm guessing it might be somewhat similar to our Honours year? (coursework and 'minor' thesis ranging from 12,000-20,000 words depending on the program).

Hooray for your PhD supervisor, I like the sound of her. :D
