kaberett- I am an EMBARRASSMENT to ALL OF THE EVERYTHING and it is SO MUCH FUN. :-) (Also? Turns out How To Make Love To A Trans Person now makes me WEEP, where previously I just thought it was awesome. Yay people. <3)
- Cheesy myspace photo of A & me & noldo & the woozl has arrived in glossy print, and tomorrow I will buy a frame to keep it in.
- Workrave, in addition to making my hands liking me better, is doing a REMARKABLE job of kicking me out of stuck-on-the-Internet loops... AND of helping keep my room vaguely tidy.
- Leaving bread, soup & cake on the side, with a please-help-yourself note, seems to be a Really Good way of endearing myself to the rest of the house without having to make smalltalk.
- I am still feeling positive about my course, having had the welcome-to-Part-III talk & lunch today!
- I am dressed APPALLINGLY, i.e. bright green cords, pale purple double-cuff shirt with serpentine cufflinks, piano scarf, blue stripy fingerless gloves, DMs. IT WORKS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW.
- I have added to my skillset "attaching brakes to RGK chairs" and, for that matter, "begging Allen keys off King's porters".
- I am having enormous amounts of fun with stupid cooking adventures.
- I have a double-length appointment on Friday to discuss (a) enough painkillers (b) no, really, enough painkillers (c) latex allergy (d) concessionary bus pass (e) maybe sedatives, HURRAH. Many of the things! Maybe they will happen and I will be delighted! And maybe be in less pain!
